Billing expertise, structured around your practice — not around a contract.
Most billing companies sell one thing: a long-term, percentage-of-collections contract that makes you dependent on them. We work differently. Our services are built as defined engagements — projects with a beginning and an end, or light ongoing oversight — so your practice builds real capability while we handle the parts that need an expert. Pick the engagement that matches where your practice is today.
Billing Setup for New Practices
For: New practices opening their doors; established practices bringing billing in-house for the first time; practices switching EMR or clearinghouse platforms.
What we do:
- Payer enrollment and credentialing coordination so you can bill from day one
- EMR / practice-management and clearinghouse setup, configured for clean claims
- Charge entry, coding, and claim-submission workflows designed for your specialty
- Denial-management and A/R follow-up procedures your team can actually run
- Hands-on training for your staff, with the workflows documented
How the engagement works: A fixed-scope project, priced up front. We build it, train your team on it, and hand it over. Many setup clients keep us on a monthly audit retainer afterward as a safety net — but that’s your choice, not a requirement.
A/R Cleanup & Denial Recovery Projects
For: Practices with aging A/R they can’t work down; practices whose denial rate keeps climbing; anyone who suspects money is sitting uncollected.
What we do:
- Full review of your aging A/R, prioritized by recoverability and deadline risk
- Systematic follow-up on unpaid and underpaid claims
- Denial analysis: we identify the patterns causing denials, appeal what’s appealable, and fix the upstream causes so the pile stops growing back
- Self-pay and early-out follow-up as part of the cleanup, where appropriate
How the engagement works: A bounded project with the scope and claim population defined before we start. Fee structured as a flat project fee or a percentage of recovered A/R — agreed in writing, up front.
Billing Consulting
For: Practice owners and managers who bill in-house (or through another company) and want an expert assessment before something becomes a bigger problem.
What we do:
- Practice billing assessments: where claims leak, where denials originate, where staff time is wasted
- Workflow redesign for charge entry, coding, submission, and follow-up
- Financial policy review — the patient-responsibility policies that quietly determine your collection rate
- In-house team training on the corrected workflows
How the engagement works: Scoped per engagement — a focused assessment, a defined fix-it project, or training sessions for your team. You get findings in plain language and a plan your staff can execute, with or without us.
Monthly Audit Retainer
For: Practices billing in-house that want expert oversight without hiring a full-time billing manager.
What we do:
- Monthly review of claims, denials, and A/R aging
- Spot-checks for coding and submission errors before they become denial patterns
- A short, clear monthly report: what we found, what it means, what to fix
- A standing expert to call when a payer problem or a workflow question comes up
How the engagement works: A light monthly retainer — oversight, not outsourcing. You keep your team and your control; we make sure nothing drifts. This is also the natural next step after a setup or cleanup engagement.
Full-Service Billing — Limited Availability
For a small number of anchor practices, we provide complete, end-to-end billing: coding and claim submission, claim follow-up, denial management, and A/R management, handled by our team. We cap this service deliberately — two to three clients at a time, with monthly minimums — because full-service billing done well requires senior attention on every account.
Full-service engagements are by inquiry only and begin with a practice evaluation. If we don’t have an opening, we’ll tell you honestly and can usually help with a setup, cleanup, or consulting engagement instead.
A note on how we work
We set you up to succeed — and stay as your safety net. Our goal is a practice whose billing runs correctly, whether that means your trained in-house team with our monthly audit behind them, or one of our limited full-service seats. Either way, you’ll always know exactly what you’re paying for and what you’re getting.
